Here is an update concerning the risk for flash flooding and severe weather across portions of the area today and tomorrow.

Overview of Impacts:

·         Multiple waves of heavy t-storms will persist at times today, before the last round pushes through on Saturday, exiting to the east thereafter.

·         The main concern will be any additional rain in the areas that were hit hard the last couple days, these will be the areas to watch for flooding today.

·         A Flood Watch is in effect until 6PM today, mostly for the Southshore and eastern areas.

·         A few storms may be locally strong to severe tomorrow with damaging winds and tornadoes can't be ruled out.

·         Dense fog persists this morning in some areas. This should start to clear out later this morning as rain arrives.
