Tropical Storm Francine continues to become better organized over the southwestern Gulf.
It is forecasted to move slowly northwestward today then turn more to the northeast tomorrow.
It is now forecast to be a category 2 hurricane at landfall along the Louisiana coast.
Francine is expected to bring threats of heavy rain, moderate to major coastal flooding, strong to damaging winds, and even a few tornadoes mainly from Tuesday night through Thursday morning.

Flood Watch in effect from September 10, 07:00 AM until September 12, 07:00 AM.
The most likely time of arrival of Tropical Storm Force Winds will be Wednesday morning.
However, if the storm speeds up, winds could arrive as early as overnight Tuesday night.
