- East Baton Rouge remains under an Extreme Cold Warning until today at 12:00PM.
- Today – Sunny with a high near 47 degrees. Lows tonight will be in the 20s.
- Wednesday – Sunny with a high near 53 degrees and lows in the 20s again.
- EBR 6 hours below freezing.
- Thursday – Mostly sunny with a high near 57 degrees. Thursday night50% chance of showers and lows in the 40s.
- Friday – A 20% chance of showers with highs in the 40s and Friday night lows in the 20s.



Here is an update concerning the winter weather threat tonight/Wednesday morning.

- A Freeze Warning has been issued for the River and Bayou Parishes tonight through tomorrow morning

WHAT: Freezing Temperatures as low as 29 degrees
WHEN: 12am tonight through 8am Wednesday morning
WHERE: The Bayou Parishes as well as portions of the River Parishes
CONFIDENCE:
- We are confident temperatures will fall below freezing across the warning area for 3-6 hours
Impacts:
Freeze/Hard Freeze:
- Temperatures will fall into the upper 20s and low 30s and will be below freezing for 3-6 hours.
- These conditions can damage citrus and other sensitive agricultural crops.
